wedding reception decoration ideas/opinions?

I'm getting married in Oct and have rented a hall and an using the rectangular tables they are providing. I'm planning on using curly willow branches as my table centerpieces along with small lanterns.y fiance loved reeses peanutbutter cups so I was also thinking about scattering these around the centerpieces. Any opinions? Also any ideas on inexpensive ways to decorate the walls? I can't put holes in them. By the way I'm on small budget so anyone with cheap ideas please feel free to bring on the advice. Thanks

Honestly, I wouldn't bother wasting money on decorating the walls. Most of the time people don't notice - plus once you get all of the tables and guests in the room it won't be such a big deal.
As for the Reese's peanut butter cups - I love that idea! My husband and I got married around Valentine's Day and his favorites are the candy hearts. So, we scattered the candy hearts all over the tables. It looked really nice - of course my husband went around eating most of the candy at the tables, but they are his favorite.
You might want to think about freezing them the night before and scattering them on the table right before the reception starts. If it is hot in there then the chocolate will melt…and you don't want the groom getting any chocolate on your beautiful dress.
