I had a Christmas wedding three years ago. GREAT time to do it! I saved on decorations at both the wedding and reception sites! I went with a holly theme. My flower girl wore red velvet and carried a ball of mistletoe. My bridesmaids wore a deep hunter green. My flowers were white roses, berries and pine/spruce sprigs. And my bridesmaids had peppermint (white and red splashes) carnations with spruce. Instead of pew bows we had small wreaths (that are the size to fit around the base of a hurricane lamp) and glued a small battery operated "candle" on the inside. We hung those on every second pew at the church. That was all I did for the church! They had a huge Christmas tree with glass ornaments, wreaths and lights already up through out. The reception was decorated as well, but I added some holly garland where the cakes were displayed. We handed out silver bell ornaments with our names and the date on them. It is such a beautiful and magical time to get married!!
