Does this sound realistic for a wedding food budget?

Hi guys,
I am planning a wedding budget and trying to keep it reasonable. I want to do a buffet-style dinner. I don't want super-fancy foods, but I do want them to be tasty. I currently have it budgeted at a head for food, not including cake or alcohol. Is that realistic? Anyone been able to do it for less? This is a February, Los Angeles wedding.
Thanks!

that sound reasonable to me. i myself had a buffet-style dinner in Los Angeles back in 2007 and i believe mine was at most 65 a head for 150 guest so the food came out to be just under 10 grand. I had my wedding reception at luminaries restaurant on top of a hill over looking the San Gabriel valley. we chose the ballroom the had floor to ceiling windows and at night it was absolutely gorgeous! i think it's right next door to or connected to a golf course too.
